Perks of Being a Local at Winterfest

Love being a local in Lake Chelan? We do too! And this Thursday, January 14th, we are offering special activities and discounts downtown for all local residents! Here are a few:

L-Bow the Clown

In his 45-minute performance set to family friendly music, L-Bow does fire juggling, unicycling, animal ballooning, and much more! Come on downtown to Chelan, Thursday at 4pm to see him perform live!

Live Ice Carving

Part of the magic of Winterfest is watching the artistic work of several incredible ice sculptors. Watch as they turn 12,000 pounds of ice in to beautiful pieces of art. You can catch our ice carvers at work all day Thursday as they make progress in carving the throne, ice slide, and ice bar for this weekend.

Winterfest Ticket Discounts

Thursday, January 14th is the last day to purchase your Winterfest buttons with our local discount offer. When you buy three buttons, you get one free! You also have the opportunity to receive a free Winterfest button when you spend $50 at a local business in downtown Chelan on Thursday (excluding gas). Additionally, in preparation for the second weekend of Winterfest, purchase your wish lantern early for half the price! Stop by the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce to make your purchases by Thursday at 5pm, and bring your Chelan or Manson ID.

Early Bird Wine Walk Registration

This year, wine walk registration will look a little different. Instead of tokens, there will be electronic bracelets for guests to have scanned at each wine walk location. If you would like to register early, and avoid the line on Friday or Saturday, then stop by the Lake Chelan Chamber between 2-5pm on Thursday, January 14th and receive 1 taste free!

Lakeview Drive-In Opens!

Craving one of the best burgers or foot-long hot dogs in town? Crave no more! This weekend, on Friday, January 15th, Lakeview Drive-In will be open for Winterfest from 11am-7pm on both Friday and Saturday. You definitely don’t want to miss it!
